On a side note, if anyone does want to take one for the team and be the guinea pig and subscribe to EA Play on an alternate account, I know a method that you can play the trial on your main account so you can access your HUT and what not.

Waiting for any update of the troubleshooting that been going on over there, has been complete radio silence on both this thread and the FIFA one.

EA should do it themselves, it doesn't cost them anything but yeah, there's another free piece of troubleshooting that I've done for you. I don't want to spend another $5 to test that theory because I shouldn't have to.

So, I'm assuming if you subscribe to EA Play or maybe download the trial after the official release date of the game, you can still play the trial. Looking at that FIFA 22 thread, people in there are saying their trials are not working still to this day but when I look at the FIFA 22 page on my EA Play, I can download the trial and presumably play it. I have a sneaking suspicion that the trial might actually work for new EA Play subscribers. Who knows if you even read these blocks of text, you don't even respond to any of the points that are being made. That's why we can't play the game, it is not offered anymore on EA Play. When you go to the EA Play page in the store, there is no NHL 22 section anywhere, not even in the trial section. If you think you're doing enough to help your customers then so be it, but currently, you are not putting up a good image for the company. It is quite obvious that NHL 22 has been removed from EA Play. You did not acknowledge the exact same issue that happened in FIFA nor looked if there is some correlation with that issue and this one. You haven't asked anyone if we should get compensated or fought for our compensation. Remember that monthly subscription only lasts a month. It has been 17 days and counting now and that should even make you realize that this has gone on for way too long. Finally, there is enough of us complaining to get the issue looked in to and now all you're doing is waiting for an update. Even your very first response to my post didn't even acknowledge the facts that I stated and then proceed to provide explanations that are not even relevant. At the very least, we should be entitled to some sort of compensation but that is highly doubtful with responses have always been beating around the bush. The fact that the same issue occured with FIFA weeks prior is also not a good look for EA. Here is their page: Īt the end of the day, the customers should not have to deal with this and it should not take this long to solve the issue. On a side note, feel free to write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about EA's antics. I wonder if for those who started the trial before the release that of the game got locked out but those who did not play it before the release date can still download and play it now? Again, us customers should not be the ones inferring and trying the problem solve more than actual EA employees but whatever, what can you do. It's odd because the FIFA 22 trial seems to work on my EA Play but people on that forum say it does not work for them. Funny how EA reps were answering and looking into it and then all of a sudden disappear. That is downright embarassing, but also a little odd.
